Kirsten Frost is a South African wildlife photographer and ORYX Photo Tour Leader who spent just over month moving between our Kenya camps in August and September 2017. Our guests during this period know Kirsten as an enthusiastic young wildlife photographer always ready, with camera in hand, to accompany guests and share his knowledge about all things photography.
After a very successful stint last year, we are excited to announce that Kirsten will once again be joining us in August this year. Get your cameras ready – this years migration season with our photographers-in-residence in camp is going to be an exciting one!
“Adding to the guests experience during my time as Photographer-in-Residence at Alex Walker Serian Camps last year was incredibly rewarding. Accompanying like-minded individuals with an interest in the natural world and photography, in a destination as inspiring as Kenya’s Maasai Mara, was a fantastic experience.”
“Whether you are a beginner with a new camera or someone more experienced in photography, it’s always a pleasure to teach new skills and share knowledge. Whether it be technical and creative shooting out on the open plains, or post processing techniques back in camp, there’s always something new to learn.”
Kirsten will move between Serian’s Nkorombo Camp in the Maasai Mara National Reserve; and Serian ‘The Original’ and Ngare Serian in the Mara North Conservancy.
