Ecotourism has collapsed in the Serengeti National Park as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving the conservation of this important ecosystem in crisis. Tourism revenue from the Serengeti paid for the management and protection not only of the park itself, but also for many of Tanzania’s other protected areas.
Without these funds the conservation efforts in the country are at stake. With your help, we can boost our collaborative efforts with Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) to secure this iconic wilderness area.
