Jeremiah Mwangi Lucas was born and brought up in Makao village. His father was a hunter, but he didnt want to follow in his fathers shoes but rather protect the animals and teach people about them. Fresh out of high school he went to a guiding school in Arusha.
He started working with Alex and the Serian Serengeti team 8 years ago as a guide. When he is guiding, you will surely feel the excitement in his voice when he talks about the animals, and a sparkle in his eye when he sees them. Jeremiah’s best part of the day is the early morning “that is when all the animals are most active”. His most favorite animal is a cheetah, watching them hunt is exhilarating.
