George is a wildlife photographer and award winning documentary filmmaker based in Kenya. His style is built around a strong foundational composition, using the available elements to frame the subject and draw the viewer’s eye. His background in film and particularly in the documentary space, both blue chip natural history and humanitarian drives a desire to create imagery that has a story, something bigger than the shot itself. Exploring this angle with wildlife can bring certain shots, and the experience as a whole, to life. He is experienced at operating and maximizing both mirrorless and DSLRs of various manufacturers, and works closely with Sony Middle East and Africa, who’s kit he uses. If there is interest in learning how to shoot mixed media simultaneously (both photo and video), this is also something he offers.

The ancestral ritual of communal fireplace and dining – the essence of sharing… we are social animals, and part of what makes things vivid and real to us is our capacity to share: the joy is dissecting your day, raking over the delicious details and unwrapping the delights over and again, over the fundamentally communal experience of breaking bread. It’s also part of absorbing and storing memories – the re-telling and re-living makes it more vivid, and sets the place of the experience in our minds.
